Swimming Pool Refurbishment

Swimming pool refurbishment is usually more involved and complex than building the same pool from scratch. We have been involved in refurbishments of a number of high end luxury indoor pools, and these can be put into two categories.

 

The first one is where the client is interested in a thorough update to the look and feel of the pool and pool room, and type of project is typical of with renovation of older properties that already have a pool installed but not functioning. For these projects, we will come and a have a look at the site, free of charge, and send your some ideas and budget costs to get the ball rolling.

The other type of refurbishment is the addition of specific equipment or features to an existing running pool. This may be to upgrade the pool to bring it up to certain regulations, as is the case with several commercial complexes, or to generally improve the performance of an otherwise running system. For these pools, we usually ask for detailed information and if possible photographs so that we can ascertain the complexity or urgency of the work needed to be done, and we would typically send an estimate of costs before we undertake a visit. The visit is chargeable, but the consultancy charges are credited to the project costs if you decide to go ahead with the work.
